About me
Namaste ๐,
I am a Developer ๐ป, Writer โ๏ธ, Rapper ๐ค and Freelancer ๐งโ๐ป from
India ๐ฎ๐ณ. Currently in my final year of undergrad studies from
Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani in the
Electronics and Communications Department .
I was introduced to programming in class 11th where Computer Science was an optional subject, I opted it as it fascinated me โจ and because the alternative optional subject was tougher ๐. My first programming language was Python ๐. Then I further studied about computer science and programming in my college and have never looked back ever since ๐.
I liked building or creating things that create an impact on the lives of people and as such I like to work on projects which are either aimed to solve a problem ๐งฉ or meant for something. This approach of mine can be seen in most of my works. I build web apps ๐, mobile apps ๐ฑ, desktop apps ๐ฅ๏ธ and cross-platform apps. Some Technologies I have worked with are: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Flutter, Supabase, Firebase, Docker, MySQL and more ๐ง.
I find a great interest in interacting with other folks with similar or varied interests ๐ค and as such am available and active on most of the mainstream social media platforms. I am the Lead at FOSS United Kolkata, a community which promotes the use and creation of Free and Open Source Software. I am the Founding Lead at FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) Club IIIT Kalyani and the Google Developer Student Clubs Web Dev Lead at IIIT Kalyani (2023-24) ๐จโ๐ป.
Other things that intrigue me are :
1. Hip-hop and music ๐ถ: I religiously listen, study and follow
Hip-hop music and its variants like Desi-hip-hop. My top
international artists - Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Tupac, JID and
Drake. My Top 5 DHH artists - Kr$na, Raftaar, Karma, Seedhe Maut
and Karan Aujla. I was so inspired by Eminem that I started
writing myself and eventually released a few songs, you can check
them out on my youtube channel โถ๏ธ.
2. Writing ๐: I have a natural inclination towards expressing
myself in different ways which got channeled into my interest in
writing blogs, articles and songs.
3. Reading ๐: I love reading books/articles on various topics
like finance ๐ฐ, self-help ๐ช, Health and Fitness ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ, Robert
Greene books, etc. My top three authors - Robert Greene, Robert
Kiyosaki and Shwetabh Gangwar.
Eager to leverage my passion ๐ฅ for Development, Programming, Problem Solving ๐งฉ, community building ๐ค, technology ๐ก and communication skills ๐ฃ๏ธ in software engineering and developer advocacy/evangelism ๐ฅ, fostering connections between developers and a company. Open to opportunities and collaboration in these spaces while not limited to these only. More than happy to just connect and network ๐.
